Privacy Policy

Effective Oct 26, 2026

This site, kansaspermittest.com, is run by Behind the Wheel, Inc. ("we", "us"). It offers free practice questions based on the Kansas Driving Handbook. This policy explains what information the site handles and what choices you have.

What we collect

You don't need an account to use this site, and we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details. We don't have a way for you to sign in or send us information through the practice tests.

Your quiz answers and best scores are saved only in your own web browser, using a feature called local storage. They are not sent to us. You can erase them any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is how any website is delivered and kept secure. We don't use this to identify you.

Advertising

This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure how ads perform. We don't control these cookies and don't receive your personal information from them.

You can manage how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can also opt out of personalized ads from many other companies at aboutads.info/choices.

Ads are labeled "Advertisement" and are separate from the practice questions. We don't endorse the products or services in ads.

Cookies

We don't set our own cookies. Cookies on this site come from our advertising and hosting providers. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking them won't stop the practice tests from working, but you may still see ads that are less relevant to you.

Teens and children

This site is made for students preparing for their Kansas permit test, many of whom are teenagers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone, and we don't direct this site to children under 13. If you are a parent and have a concern, please contact us.

Links to other sites

This site links to our main website, behindthewheel.org, and may link to other sites, such as the Kansas Department of Revenue. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, for example by adding analytics, we will update this page and the effective date above.
